Trauma-Informed Therapy for Youth, Adults, and Families

Welcome,

As a Registered Social Worker with over 15 years of clinical experience, I have had the privilege of supporting youth, adults, and families facing mental health and addiction challenges. I understand the profound impact these struggles can have on individuals and their loved ones, and I am deeply committed to helping people find hope, healing, and meaningful change.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, lost, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them- whether its anxiety, depression, substance use, self-destructive behaviours, or difficulty regulating emotions. Despite efforts to change, they often find themselves repeating familiar patterns as unresolved trauma, negative core beliefs, and ingrained survival responses keep them stuck.

Healing happens through connection. In therapy, I prioritize building an authentic and trusting relationship where we can explore your experiences openly. Together, we will examine your emotions, identify patterns keeping you stuck, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

I draw from evidence-based techniques, including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness, all within a trauma-informed framework. These approaches will empower you with the tools and support to address the root causes of emotional and behavioural struggles and move forward with confidence and clarity.
